Meizu website shut down for “inciting negative social influence on society

Chinese electronic manufacture meizu’s web site has gone dark for a few days, currently there’s no explanation for meizu fans other than a bulletin board now appeared as the homepage says that the topics discussed in the meizu forums negatively influenced the society, and the site will be temporarily shut down for a period of time until rectification is made.

This is the translation of the bulletin message

Because meizu forums has multiple instances of anonymous members spread illegal, unsavory messages that hold negative influence on society, according to relevant officials, the website and the forum will be shut down temporarily.

We will examine and address the problem immediately and increase moderation to prevent similar instances from happening in future.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Okay, the whole thing oozes the stinking censorship smell and the nonchalance that Chinese government officials hold toward freedom of speech and the basic human right.

There was discussion/salutation on the meizu forum when a Chinese blind dissent miraculously escaped from its home confinement, obviously smart free spirited geeks enraged the Chinese officials who are not elected, not to be criticized, and the website for custom roms or android apps shut down.
