There’s a lot of back and forth today about what appears to be microsoft’s new office app for ios today. According to the daily, the UI of this app is similar to metro stylized OneNote, it enables you to view and edit word, excel and powerpoint files locally and online. After the daily post the image, Microsoft states simply that whatever that image is, “it is not an Microsoft software.”  According to a tweet from the company communication account, we might be seeing Microsoft software soon.

Great respect for The Daily but regrettably someone is giving them bad info, and that’ll be clear in the “coming weeks.”

The tweet doesn’t shed much light, but we can count on a timely revelation of Microsoft’s actual plan for ios.
