Earlier we covered that there’d be an update for Nokia lumia 800 and the update will see to an improvement for the phone’s battery life, still, we are much amazed by the the significance of this gain. The folks at wpcentral forced this update to their phones and, get this, they assert the new software has nearly tripled their battery life! They claim that this amazing improvements is partly due to a fine-tuned management of the screen brightness and cite an approximate discharge of 70mA when idle, which is a huge leap compared with the current 150mA discharge. While the final result may vary, this latest update could prove to be a true godsend for lumia owners.
